NYFW Recap: Part Deux

And so Fashion Week Continues with more delicious picks to choose from. I love how distinctively unique each show is even thought they all pull trends from the same sources. Today I'm feeling particualarly sassy, as shown my this roundup of picks!

Tracy Reese

Rather surprising and ultimately appealing, Tracy Reese combined equal parts comfort and spice to this collection. I loved all the textures throughout the show, most notably through prints + chunky knits, sparkles + furs + color blocking, and manipulation of fabrics. You go Glen Coco I mean Tracy Reese, you did awesome!

Alice & Olivia

Alice and Olivia brought a punch with this edgy glamorous collection. Not to expect from the normally colorful and conservative looks from Stacey  Bendet, but I love LOVE love how each look was styled. Maybe it was the prints on prints, or maybe it was the excessive layering, but I'm a huge fan of the direction this collection is headed in.

 Carolina Herrera

The only couture collection in the set, I love the drapery and form fitting pieces evident in this collection. I don't know if its the bold prints or the fabric mixing to the max that made me swoon for Carolina Herrera's collection. Either way it was the perfect Cinderella story on the runway!

Marc by Marc Jacobs

Talk about a business etiquette, the 60's-esque hairstyles definitely added a certain flair to Marc Jacobs collection this season. I love how subdued the color palette was with bold prints, masculine plaids, and the glamour of 1950's style fur coats. One word, love.

Wes Gordon

Oh hello pops of color, I love the coated almost iridescent materials used in the Wes Gordon collection. Beyond the color palette, I was highly inspired by all of the alternative suit options [surprisingly] and the hint of brocade trimming and printing. Absolutely yummy!

And since fashion week is never ending, consider this To Be Continued ....
